Free Museum and Arts Passes Now Available to Students

Special Student Offer

The TPL has expanded its popular MAP program to include U of T students who are 18 and over.

MAP Passes

Visit us at the UTSC Library Information and Reference Desk to request a MAP booklet (also available from OISE, Engineering & Computer Science, Gerstein, UTM, and Robarts libraries).

The booklet contains a MAP pass that students can bring into participating Toronto Public Library branches to activate:

City Hall
Lillian H. Smith
Parliament Street
Scarborough Civic Centre  <-- closest branch to UTSC
Toronto Reference Library

In order to activate the pass, students need to have a valid Toronto Public Library card. The pass is good for free admission for two to any one of four participating MAP venues:

Art Gallery of Ontario
Bata Shoe Museum
Textile Museum of Canada
City of Toronto Historic Sites:
- Colborne Lodge in High Park
- Fort York National Historic Site
- Gibson House Museum
- Mackenzie House
- Montgomery's Inn
- Scarborough Museum
- Spadina Museum: Historic House & Gardens
- Todmorden Mills Heritage Site

We are excited to be participating in this pilot project, which will allow students to explore the diverse cultural landscape of our city for free.
