U of T Scarborough chief librarian welcomes community to fall semester

We are excited to welcome you to the U of T Scarborough Library! This summer we’ve been working closely with our public health and safety partners, and following U of T COVID-19 guidelines in order to prepare for a safe library experience this fall.

The library will partially reopen as a study space Tuesday, Sept. 8, at 10:00 am. We will be open Monday – Friday, from 10:00 am – 8:00 pm. You will be able to request and pick up library books and other materials. To study, you will need to book a space using the library booking system.

Please remember to continue wearing your non-medical masks in the library, observe physical distancing guidelines and make use of hand sanitizers available on both levels of the library.

Looking ahead, you can expect online library events like our 3rd annual Indigenous Book Club, the Digital Scholarship @ UTSC series and more co-curricular workshops dedicated to honing your essential research skills. We will probably see you in some of your online classes too!

If you have questions, let us know. We are here to help: https://utsc.library.utoronto.ca/ask. Need health and wellness support? Our amazing campus partners at UTSC Health and Wellness are here to support you: https://www.utsc.utoronto.ca/hwc/health-wellness-centre

Welcome to a new year! We’ll see you online and say hi to some of you in person!
