Visit our UTSC Library table during Welcome Day – an opportunity for you to meet the Principal and Dean of Students, and explore all the resources available. You can connect with student clubs, student services and other departments here to support you!
Pen for your Thoughts
Visit the UTSC Library to add your Welcome Back messages for your campus mates and keep the pen! We will post your messages in the UTSC Library entrance. Cards and writing materials will be provided by the library.
Scarby Scavenger Hunt - September 2022
Our library mascot, Scarby H. Hedgehog, is missing! Scarby likes to hide in the shelves and study spaces, gathering information for students on all the things that happen in the UTSC Library. Find and return Scarby to the Information Desk and win a prize!
Black Student Orientation | September 8 | 10AM – 3PM
Visit our UTSC Library table at the Black Student Orientation where you can meet and greet with students, staff, services, SCSU and clubs. Good food, music, games, prizes and so much more. Get Experience Fair | September 15 I 11AM – 3PM I Highland Hall
Learn about ways to gain experience on campus and in the community! Participants in this fair will be sharing volunteer, work-study, entrepreneurship and international experiences to students. Science Literacy Week | September 19-25 | Online & In-Person
Along with organizations from across Canada, U of T Libraries is exploring all math and its applications for this year's Science Literacy Week celebration. Participating libraries from St. George, UTM, and UTSC campuses will offer virtual and physical displays and other themed content that will inspire you all week long.
Math is for Everyone! | September 20 I 12PM – 2PM I IC Atrium
Come celebrate all things math! A Science Literacy Week event hosted by the UTSC Library for UTSC Students.
Enjoy light refreshments, participate in math related activities, connect with your campus math partners, and find out all the ways UTSC supports math.

Queer Orientation | September 19-23 | Online & In-Person
Queer Orientation (QO) is an annual series of 2SLGBTQ-centred programming across all three campuses of U of T during the end of September. QO is an opportunity for new and returning students, staff, faculty and librarians to make connections with other 2SLGBTQ+ people, engage in activities and have discussions related to 2SLGBTQ+ communities at U of T.
UTSC Homecoming | September 24 | 10AM – 10PM | On Campus
Everyone is Invited! Join us on campus for a full day of activities, fun and entertainment for all ages and interests. Come with your friends and family for a day you will not want to miss.
Indigenous Book Club | September 28 | 12PM – 2PM | On Campus
The UTSC Library is proud to co-host another iteration of the U of T Indigenous Book Club on September 22. Participants are invited to participate in learning about books, podcasts and other media by Indigenous people. The book club is part the Library’s commitment to foster spaces of collaboration, sharing and respect while providing research support and connections to Indigenous resources and knowledge.
