Teaching & Classroom Support

The Library can put items on reserve, and provides a range of services and partnerships from in-class workshops through to departmental partnerships for skills scaffolding and certificate programs. 

Course Reserves - Instructor Requests

Instructors can make course readings available online through Quercus, the University's online learning management system. In addition, instructor can set aside – i.e., 'reserve' – physical items such as books and DVDs in the Course Reserves/Short Term Loan area in the UofT Scarborough Library.

Film Reserves - Instructor Requests

Instructors may reserve  DVDs or videos for course preview and classroom screening. The U of T Scarborough Library maintains a collection of audiovisual materials that is housed with Course Reserve items. In order to make an advance reservation, You can also use the library's film reservation form, email library-media@utsc.utoronto.ca or contact Frank Tong at 416-208-5168.

Teaching Support

The library can help meet your teaching goals and students’ learning needs from course-specific research guides through to strategies for information literacy scaffolding throughout a curriculum.  Contact your Liaison Librarian to learn more.

Library Quercus Integrations
