The University of Toronto Scarborough is committed to fostering opportunities for undergraduate experiences. As part of this commitment, the U of T Scarborough Office of the Vice-Principal Research and Innovation and the U of T Scarborough Library launched two successful initiatives in 2016 which continue today.
Each program provides an opportunity for students who have excelled in research, scholarship, and creative activities to showcase their work and win cash prizes:

U of T Scarborough Undergraduate Research & Creative Prize - Application deadline: April 15, 2026 at 12:00 PM Eastern Time (NOON)
Patricia and Peter Shannon Wilson Undergraduate Research Prize - Application deadline: February 15, 2026 at 11:59 PM Eastern Time
