Cricut Joy Xtra

Create your own stickers at home with ease! The Cricut Joy Xtra is ideal for anyone looking to craft Cricut projects from the comfort of their own space. This portable Cricut cutter is also capable of making print-and-cut stickers. Please note that vinyl and other materials are not included. Introduction to 3D Design (in-person)

Thursday, November 21, 2:10pm-3pm | UTSC Library Makerspace (AC256)
This hands-on session introduces you to 3D design using Tinkercad, a beginner-friendly free design platform. At the end of the workshop, you will have created a basic object that is ready to be 3D printed.

Podcasts: The Basics (online)

Wednesday, November 27, 2:10pm-3pm
In this session, you will be introduced to the tools and resources for podcast creation. You'll learn about best practices for creating a podcast, including choosing a format, comparing recording software and selecting the proper equipment needed to complete your digital project.

Introduction to Cricut (online)

Thursday, December 5, 2:10pm-3pm
This session will introduce you to DesignSpace, the online tool for creating Cricut projects. During the interactive workshop, you'll learn how to browse the Cricut design database or use the program's tools to create your own projects, like stickers or greeting cards. Be sure to download the free program in advance to participate.
