You can access our ebooks, online journals, and other electronic resources in person using designated computer work stations in the UTSC Library. Some are quick use stations with a 15 minute time limit and some are longer term with a 2 hour time limit. A guest account, available at the Information Desk at the front of the library, is required to log in to guest work stations.
Unfortunately, we are unable to offer remote access to our online resources to alumni. Our guide to Reading, Writing, and Publishing after you leave U of T has some useful tips on accessing online resources as an independent researcher.
Printing and scanning
A print card is required to print or photocopy. They are $5.00 each (debit or credit only). The card itself costs $0.75. The remaining $4.25 credit can be used at the library's printers or photocopiers, or at a number of food outlets on campus. Scanning is free. For network security reasons, scanning must be to a USB key, not an email address.
The UTSC Library is available for quiet study during the following hours:
- Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM - 10:30 PM
- Saturday and Sunday: 12:00 PM - 10:30 PM
We would like to hear from you about your information and library needs and about your experiences with our library so that we may serve you better. Email us at our library help page.
