Start your graduate journey with confidence by joining Devon Stolz, Student Engagement Librarian, for an in-person orientation designed specifically for graduate level students. Whether you're new to the University of Toronto or just looking for a refresher, you'll leave better prepared to navigate the library system and make the most of what U of T libraries have to offer.

WhatThis session will introduce you to:

  • The most helpful library tools, resources and services to support your academic work and enrich your experience as a student. 

WhyThis session is designed to help you:

  • Become oriented quickly by highlighting the most relevant services, spaces and resources available through U of T Libraries. 
  • Learn how to access supports, and how the library can make your academic life easier and more productive. 

Who - Graduate students who are new to the University of Toronto or want a refresher on library services. 

  • Not a graduate student? You're still welcome to attend, but please note that the content is tailored to graduate level research needs. 

Where -  Electronic Classroom, 4th Floor, Robarts Library. Map to locate the electronic classroom

  • Your TCard is required for entry to Robarts Library. If you're a current student and don’t yet have your TCard, accommodations can be arranged—please contact devon.stolz@utoronto.ca.

When - Wednesday, September 9th 2026, 2:00 PM – 3:30 PM.

  • An optional tour of Robarts Library will take place from 3:00 - 3:30 PM.
