Open Your Research to the World & Increase Its Impact in TSpace

On March 17, the U of T Scarborough Library is excited to celebrate Green Open Access (OA) Day – a grassroots, library-led initiative highlighting the importance of self-archiving, also known as Green OA. Self-archiving makes it possible for authors to deposit a version of their scholarly work – such as journal articles, conference papers, or book chapters – into an open repository without paying additional publisher fees to make their work freely available.

When you share your work in TSpace, you help remove paywalls and barriers to knowledge, increase research discoverability and impact, and support UTSC’s commitment to open and accessible scholarship.

Take Advantage of Mediated Deposit

To make self‑archiving easier for faculty and postdocs, the U of T Scarborough Library offers a mediated deposit service

Library staff can:

  • Check publisher policies and embargo periods
  • Identify the appropriate version for sharing
  • Deposit your work into TSpace on your behalf

Visit TSpace to view existing UTSC collections or complete the mediated deposit form today to partner with the library to amplify the impact of your research.

Together, we can make UTSC research available to readers everywhere - not just those with a subscription!
