During this third workshop, you will join Benjamin&nbsp;Pottruff, Learning Strategist from Academic Success, and&nbsp;<a href="https://www.linkedin.com/in/dan-d-agostino-67687b49/?originalSubdomain=ca">Dan D&#39;Agostino</a>, a Librarian at Robarts and a certified teacher of Compassion Cultivation Training,&nbsp;to discuss how to read and consume academic content in a digital world.&nbsp;<br />

Topics covered during this session will include:&nbsp;</p>

<li>Understand how reading&nbsp;in a digital age has fragmented our&nbsp;information&nbsp;intake to&nbsp;screen&nbsp;reading,&nbsp;watching videos,&nbsp;and listening to podcasts&nbsp;</li>
<li>Investigate how different digital media have an impact on how&nbsp;we&nbsp;comprehend&nbsp;information&nbsp;</li>
<li>Discuss strategies&nbsp;and&nbsp;mindful&nbsp;approaches for&nbsp;academic learning in each digital medium (audio, video, text)&nbsp;</li>
</ul>

<p>This session will include meditative practices, sharing of learning strategies, open discussion, and opportunities to apply and practice mindful reading skills.</p>
