Some programs will require you to find and contact a potential research supervisor at the institution to which you are applying before submitting your application. Check the university’s website for details.
Set up your personal account through each university’s website.
Contact your professors in advance for references - Career Counsellors suggest two months.

Remember to never register a referee that you have not asked yet.
UTSC uses the Transcript Centre on ROSI for transcript orders. Place your orders well before the deadline.
Some schools have different requirements for transcripts; refer to each application’s instructions on what they require of you.
Applications will require you to fill out your personal details. Save a document with this information as you will be filling it out for each application.
Double-check your information once you’ve put it into the system.
You will need to upload either a resume or a CV. AA&CC has a good handout on turning your resume into a successful CV.
You will also need to submit a statement of interest. Refer to the Personal Statement. (Return to the Homepage and select "Personal Statement" from the drop-down menu.)
Some graduate programs will require samples of your previous work. Make a list of which essays or research you think represent your best work and ask your professors for help.
