Dear Scarby, Does the library have a prayer space? - Searching, 2nd year
Dear Searching,
While the library does not have a dedicated prayer space, the campus does: https://www.utsc.utoronto.ca/studentlife/inter-faith-engagement
Sincerely,
Scarby H. Hedgehog
Dear Scarby, Where is the exam repository?
Dear Ernie,
Unfortunately, there is almost no UTSC coverage in the Old Exam Repository. I recommend that you ask your course instructor if they have any past exams or sample study questions they are willing to share with students. Also, always check your Quercus course site, because some amazing instructors regularly post study materials and past exams there.
Yours truly,
Scarby H. Hedgehog
Emerging Professional in Digital Scholarship Summer 2025 - Winter 2026
On April 8, Nicole Slattery, Liaison Librarian at the University of Toronto Scarborough Campus Library, presented at Centre for Teaching and Learning (CTL) Celebration of Teaching Showcase 2025. In her presentation, Nicole explored how anti-oppressive practices, and critical librarianship can shape more inclusive and transformative learning environments in higher education.
As we wrap up celebrating the University of Toronto Scarborough's 60th anniversary, the UTSC Library would like to highlight Professor Emeritus Rudy Boonstra from the Department of Biological Sciences for his many contributions to research in the field of Conservation Ecology and Evolution, Neuroscience and Behaviour, and Physiology.
As faculty prepare your annual Progress Through the Ranks (PTR) documentation, a reminder that the library can support you with researcher profiles and impact metrics. Whether you use library-subscribed tools such as Scopus and Web of Science, or publicly available tools such as Google Scholar, the library can help you claim your profile, correct information, and simplify the process of measuring and describing your research and its impact.
