Tamil Heritage Month Celebration
January is Tamil Heritage Month and U of T Scarborough Library is holding a celebration dedicated to the promotion, preservation, and documentation of Tamil culture and heritage. On January 25, U of T Scarborough Library is hosting a Tamil Heritage Month Celebration, and we are inviting you to join us!

Silent Study at the Library
Silent Study is in effect at the Library until Dec. 23.
During exams, our library will be a Silent Study Zone, this means the following:
- Whispered Conversations
- Keep your cell phones on vibrate
- Use earphones or headphones for electronics
We have a zero tolerance for noise policy. Anyone breaking the rules will be asked too leave. Let's be considerate of our peers and create a peaceful study environment.

The library is partnering with Tamil Studies/Tamil Worlds Initiative at Department of Historical and Cultural Studies to celebrate Tamil heritage month with a full day of events on January 25, 2025, including the launch of new collections relevant to the local and global Tamil community.
