How to book

Makerspace Equipment

The Makerspace makes available a variety of equipment,  including 3D printers, podcast equipment, an iMac computer, a Cricut Maker, a button maker, and a sewing machine. These must be used in-house.

There is also media equipment that can be borrowed outside of the Makerspace for 3 days, including digital cameras, tripods, lighting equipment, USB microphone, headphones, and more. See technology lending for more details.

How to book

You must become a Makerspace user to gain access to the equipment. See our Get Started page for information on how to become a user.

Equipment picked up or used in the Makerspace must be reserved using MS Bookings.

To book equipment, follow these steps:

Step one

Select the equipment you would like to book. Note the length of the booking - you are not obligated to borrow the equipment for the entire time frame. For a description of the equipment, select the information icon.
