Increase your discoverability and impact

As faculty prepare your annual Progress Through the Ranks (PTR) documentation, a reminder that the library can support you with researcher profiles and impact metrics. Whether you use library-subscribed tools such as Scopus and Web of Science, or publicly available tools such as Google Scholar, the library can help you claim your profile, correct information, and simplify the process of measuring and describing your research and its impact.

Emerging Professionals

Undergraduate and graduate students participating in the library’s Emerging Professionals program receive mentorship to cultivate essential information skills through collaboration with faculty research projects. Enhance the openness and sustainability of your research while maximizing your student budget by partnering with the library and our students.

Mobilizing Student Work

Presenters at the annual UTSC Undergraduate Research and Creative Forum (URCF) showcased their projects and engaged with peers, faculty, and staff at the UTSC Meeting Place on April 1, 2025. Sponsored by the U of T Scarborough Library and the Office of the Vice-Principal Research and Innovation, the event provides a platform for undergraduate students to share their research, scholarship, and creative activities beyond their own programs or departments. It also helps them develop presentation skills and receive valuable feedback from the academic community.

All URCF presenters are encouraged to preserve their work in TSpace. The library also welcomes other departmental contributions such as posters and papers from other student symposiums or undergraduate theses
