The Digital Scholarship Unit provides high quality experiential, curricular and co-curricular learning for students at U of T Scarborough. We also collaborate with faculty and CTL staff on the creation of assignments in digital scholarship and digital research. Explore this page to learn more about our activities in this area. Instructors, we encourage you to contact your liaison if you are interested in working with the library on digital scholarship related learning outcomes.
Assignment Planner
The Assignment Planner is based on the module developed and maintained by Stanford (visible at asignmentcalculator.com). Assignments are created and maintained by Liaison Librarians. This was adopted for our use by Danyal Rana, Emerging Professional in Application Development Winter 2022. The code is available on Github.
Emerging Professionals Program
Library employment for undergraduate and graduate students, including full-time co-op positions and short-term practicum placements.

Open Educational Resources
The Learning Object Catalogue seeks to collect, describe, and preserve a wide range of Learning Objects created at the U of T Scarborough Library to share our work and allow for repurposing of objects for learning and teaching.
Find Digital Scholarship Tools
This website hosts a website and dataset related to digital scholarship tools and methodology. The project started in mid-July 2020, in response to the difficulty of sharing and updating information about digital tools and resources commonly used in Digital Scholarship.
